This is the Superman I admired as a child.
George played Superman as a happy hero, with a sense of humor and fierce loyalty to his friends.
I remember my brother and me, running around with towels for capes and outstretched arms, making that swoosh sound.
I even caught my mom blushing a couple of times when George flashed that smile at the end of an episode.
