Today, I will briefly tell you about the line of Duomatics, that the Passap company manufactured.
The machine that I didn't include in the video is the Passap Combi. In 1965 the company introduced the Passap Combi, which was initially a single-bed machine, but a second bed could be attached to make it a double-bed one. Instead of strippers, it used a mechanism to push down the stitches. That makes it different from the line of the Duomatics. From the information I found online, it was soon discontinued because it doesn't have pushers, and it was hard to use it for different fancy stitches and patterns. Except for the name Combi, it was known by the name Tricomatic.
There is a manual for Passap Tricomatic, but the pictures inside are similar to the Passap DM5 (the pinkie).
Except that, I found a Passap Duomatic - Tricomatic 32 - a double-bed machine with orange locks but without pushers on either bed. Maybe it was introduced after the Duomatic 5 (pinkie), but I couldn't find any additional information. The sticker on the lock was written in German or Dutch.
Am I missing something?
