This is a demonstration of a 20 meter contact using an indoor 13ft circumference loop made with 3/8" diameter copper tubing. The loop is being tuned by an MFJ-933C loop tuner and fed by an Icom IC-705 QRP transceiver. The stations are located approx 5 miles apart and thus this demonstrates a ground wave contact. Note the low noise level on the loop is very low and the signal is S9. I will be posting a video of the transmit signal received by the other station running the Icom IC-7800 into a Cushcraft R6.
