I am a Hebrew roots believer and side with the Jewish people as would a Karite or Lubavitcher or even a Samaritan but I also agree with you. And rabbi Asher meza too. Iβll share this good video clip with others.

Judaism isn't "grounded" in Jesus not being the Messiah. It's grounded in Tanakh. There's nothing Jewish about believing that God just gave the Torah to show us we cannot follow it, and that instead, the only way to be right with God is to believe the Messiah is God incarnate and dies for the sins of humanity, a requirement which appears nowhere in the Hebrew scripture. Rather, God gave the Torah "so that you can fulfill it" (Deuteronomy 30v14).

Kaballah isn't traditional Judaism rooted in the scriptural understandings that are obvious but what is mystical. Of course you would reach out to the mystics to say that messianic jews are still jews....even though they're not. You're Christians. The Jews who went on to follow Jesus and Paul's teachings gave up their membership cards and it was understood then.
