The pharmacy I work at has a similar device to read out the details of a prescription from an otherwise unseeming sticker. Blind or low-vision patients get a sticker on each prescription that their device can read, and the pharmacist has to make sure it reads off the right information before we dispense it. We don't have too many patients who need this service, maybe only three, but it's truly life-changing for those who can't read the label.
