In Australia the fire department get valenters to collect as much dead wood as possible before the dangerous dry season coming sections and the artic tree cuters dont alow tree cutting past a certain humidity level cause chain saws can start a fire quickly with one spark

These fires are not new but thank you for sharing this information. I'm Canadian and our mainstream media is controlled by the Conservative Party and Fossil fuel sector who have a vested interest in keeping the money from the usage of fossil fuels going, which means Canadians don't hear about this from our regular news sources. We lost 40% of our boreal forest after half a year of forest fires last year. I'm hoping we won't lose as much this year. The world does need these forests as part of the "air conditioning" system for the planet.
