That's the thing i don't think aliens would be dumb enough to be like "oh yeah dinosaurs are still alive" because they clearly see the dinosaurs meaning the dinosaurs are clearly dead as they'd probably know that time through light rays is slow to reach them so they'd probably think we're in space by now-

I don't think if they had strong enough telescopes to see the surface of our planet that it would be possible for them to see into the past with it. I get where the idea is coming from aka some of the stars we see may not even be there because they are from the past. But our telescopes can see planets now and it's all in real time so if we had advanced telescopes it would stand to reason that the time factor wouldn't be the same as the rule with stars.
