The reason why remarstered vocals usually sound off or weird... is because they are. You are used to the song being always sung a certain way, so if it remastered, there are some differences, and becauss of your preception of "right", the vocals sound better in original, but without lenses of that, the new vocals do sound better, cleaner, and improved.
