Why am I crying? 😭 Your Dad is the best. He reminded me at my Abuelo who came to America from Dominican Republic at age 55. He did everything in his power to learn English. People used to bully him at work because he had a thick accent but that didn’t stop him from working 12 hours a day/6 days a week. His accent didn’t matter to us. We were so proud of him. He passed away 20 years ago and I wish I could hear him speak English once again. 😓😓God bless your mom and dad!

I can imagine his nervousness but he did an amazing job and we are also so proud of him stepping out of his element and pushing himself. We all love your parents they are just the sweetest. I can only imagine how it feels for me to be learning a new language and have to go to that country and try it out. 😂😂😂 I would be sweating bricks.

Dad was a little nervous for this mission because I would always order for him when we eat out. This was his first time ever ordering an entire meal in English and I am so proud of him. This also made me realize how difficult it would have been for mom and dad to lose independence due to the language barrier in a totally foreign country. Thanks to @rosettastone, they are one step closer to a full life in America.
