a memory that I will cherish for the rest of this life ❤

Ever since I read "Zen in the art of Archery", I dreamed of doing archery classes.

This was my bedside book for a long time, and its pages were a great reconnection with my faith, to ritualize life and the importance of discipline.

Not only because it seemed like a lot of fun, but mainly because I felt like this practice would completely transform me.

The symbolism and sacred myth behind the bow and arrow can have many interpretations.

Some of the ones I love the most are the tip of the arch being Heaven and its other tip representing Earth.
The rope signifies this sacred union between two opposites, the golden thread that connects these two worlds.
The target is the spirit, the gold, symbol of light and immortality.

And the arrow is the “winged word”, the voice fired, the true action.

The archer's objective is not only to hit the target following the path of this “golden thread” but also to get rid of images and symbols and enter the realm that is beyond this existence.
It's losing yourself from that plan and entering your true self.
