i think so, because in S4E1, While Mike, Dustin and Erica were playing the final game of D&D, Dustin landed on 11, which was a miss. But, When Lucas made the final basket, it was revealed that Lucas was #8 on the team. And Kali is also #8. And, it is the same episode that Brenner was solving the crossword!

Agree! Noah Schnapp's recent social media communications with the actress that plays Kali strongly hints that she'll be back for S5.
In S4, Henry also mentioned Kali during his conversation with Eleven at the Lab when he said something like "That's when Eight was still here"....implying that he is aware that she is still out there.

My theory for s5
So u know those images that shows eleven then it shows the lab (s4). But on one of them it shows Karen wheeler at the creels house. Now, most people say she looks like Alice. Not me tho. Beacuse she was clearly dead and her eyeballs were taken out so she couldn’t have survived. For s5 the duffer brothers confirmed that holly will have a bigger role and different actress. But I’m not sure if they confirmed it or not but I’m 95% sure they did, she goes missing. And since I’m s4 Vecna didn’t fully kill max and needs a new victim. Which is holly. And Karen tries to find holly in the creels house cuz she learned from Mike and Nancy about Vecna…?

What if?
When el is fighting vecna, when everyone is about to die, kali comes.
She makes vecna see everyone dead, making him believe that he won. Then, el can kill him while he can’t see her.
