Sounded just like classic Deep Purple to me. Really solid for a bunch of guys in their 70s (plus a guitarist in his 40s). I was very impressed. 💜

Well it's here. Sitting 8 miles south of Belfast on Friday 19th of July.
Got the =1 delivered today. I'm a life long Purple fan.
This is to me the most Purple sounding album since Perfect Strangers.
I love Steve Morse, but I think Simon has brought the European blues sound back into the band that was missing. Certainly the heaviest album since Abandon.
Gillan sounds great. I even cried during I'll Catch You. FANTASTIC! SUPERB!

Just heard it today. Love it. I haven't been excited about Deep Purple since "Perfect Strangers" was released back in the 80s.
