Not surprised. I can attest to it because I work at a rental car company. Toyota's hold up the best!

Traded off my 1999 Corolla in 2017 that had 300,000 miles on it. Only two repairs in its lifetime and that was for a starter ($300) and a catalytic converter ($500). I don't count batteries, tires, brakes, and hoses - that's maintenance. Never had a problem, otherwise. I now have a 2016 Camry that I'm going to drive until the end of time...

Bought my son his first car recently, a 2015 Camry with 105k miles. I told him take care of this car and it will last another 200k plus and see you through college and well beyond.

I just love Toyotas. I had an old Tersel that hit 525k. I sold it to a friend of my daughter and last I heard, it was still going.

I swear by Toyota. I had a 2003 Corolla that ran for over 500,000 miles. The odometer for that model year only goes up to 299,999, so I estimated the mileage based on how many oil changes I had after passing the 300,000 mark.

My wife drives a 2001 carolla.
It's just over 200.000 km.
In Europe it's a rare addition.
Its automatic transmission.
She loves that car.
In the Netherlands not many around of these cars.
