The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise has had many games where the story is an important part of the gaming expereince. However, there aren't too many twists and turns when it comes to the plot of Sonic games. However, Sonic and the BlackKnight had a huge emphaiss on the story of the game and set up possibly the best Sonic plot twist ever! This all occurrs near the ending of the Sonic and the BlackKnight game after defeating King Arthur and talking to Merlina the Wizard. Merlina was a great villain with sympathetic motivations she was also the first and currently only female villain to be the main antagonist in the game she's in here's hoping we get more in the future the series could use more villains other then Eggman Orbot Cubot Metal Sonic Sage and the Deadly Six oh and Black Doom too
