Would you rather have your nail polish removed in less than 5 minutes but deal with dry skin, or spend extra time removing your nail polish but have hydrated skin in the end? I kinda did end up getting the remover everywhere as it just seemed messier but my skin did feel good after I washed the remover off of my hands. I wonder if this is one of those things where you'll see improvement but over a period of time. what do you think, would you try this?

I think this is for people who wear polish intermittently. Like if you change your nails every week, this isn't for you. But if you're like my mom who paints them a couple of times a year and hates acetone for the smell and drying effect, then this is made for you. It has its place. Not in my nail products drawer but in someone's.

i see a lot of ella & mila as marketed to moms to use for both them and their kids, so i can definitely see the use case there-- idk the contents of this remover, but a lot of their stuff is much safer to use around young children. obviously not the only case, i've had eczema flare ups on my hands and i can't imagine how painful acetone would be if i used it during those. i already have issues with oily nails (genetics for razor thin nails + oil issues) so i don't know if adding an oily remover will help me much in the long run personally, but it's nice this and other acetone free removers exist.

i have something similar to this and what i do is wash my hands to get rid of the greasy feeling and if i need to dehydrate i use rubbing alcohol and sometimes acetone

I don't like the lavendar one either but I get their jojoba oil remover or their unscented bottle version! I've been getting it for the past few years, I've never used acetone remover. I used to use trust fund Beauty's remover but transitioned to ella Milas! ๐Ÿ’…

the best polish remover that ella + mila makes is the little dip pot with the sponge!!

It works really well imo - I have been using a similar formula since forever and yes, it doesn't dry out your nails as much.
As for the oily feeling, if you wait and paint your nails the next day then it works perfectly without using acetone to dehydrate ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh, I tried non-acetone remover a couple years ago and I have never been so annoyed! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mind you, I'm impatient and I change my nail polish every 2-3 days so there was too much rough scrubbing with creme polish. My tips wear fast and I get pretty bad peeling without polish and peel-off base coat refuses to stay stuck to me even for a day regardless of the polish type. (Actually, that's most base coats, HT's Long Lasting Base is the only one that actually stays put long enough to let me enjoy the pretty nails.

I feel like regular cuticle oil application will fix the dehydration issues caused by acetone or alcohol

my personal favorite acetone-free nail polish remover is the polish potion from lights lacquer!! still smells strong but it removes soooo much better than acetone removers in my experience (and from what you showed on the bottle for this one, it seems to also have very different ingredients). after i tried it, i never looked back. and it's a dang cute bottle which is always a plus. as for the "having to use acetone after to dry the nail" acetone isn't the only way to do that, i just wash my hands and dry them.

You could just wash your nails with soap after using this remover, soap removes oils, so the polish would adhere ๐Ÿ–ค

I got it 80% because of the pink bottle, I use a sock and wet the same spot and find that I have to use less of it than normal remover. my mom also loves it since she doesnt have to keep wetting the sock & due to age her nails are dry 24/7 so she enjoys it, so ig ill keep buying it

Ella+Mila I personally prefer their cuticle oil. Yes it feels greasy but it has been helping me a lot. IT ALSO STOPS BITING! I have the bad habit of biting, and it takes forever to get the taste out and it has really helped.

I use a different natural remover, Karma, that is also oil based and you don't need to use acetone after to clean the nail base. You can use vinegar.
