i see a lot of ella & mila as marketed to moms to use for both them and their kids, so i can definitely see the use case there-- idk the contents of this remover, but a lot of their stuff is much safer to use around young children. obviously not the only case, i've had eczema flare ups on my hands and i can't imagine how painful acetone would be if i used it during those. i already have issues with oily nails (genetics for razor thin nails + oil issues) so i don't know if adding an oily remover will help me much in the long run personally, but it's nice this and other acetone free removers exist.

Oh, I tried non-acetone remover a couple years ago and I have never been so annoyed! ๐ Mind you, I'm impatient and I change my nail polish every 2-3 days so there was too much rough scrubbing with creme polish. My tips wear fast and I get pretty bad peeling without polish and peel-off base coat refuses to stay stuck to me even for a day regardless of the polish type. (Actually, that's most base coats, HT's Long Lasting Base is the only one that actually stays put long enough to let me enjoy the pretty nails.

my personal favorite acetone-free nail polish remover is the polish potion from lights lacquer!! still smells strong but it removes soooo much better than acetone removers in my experience (and from what you showed on the bottle for this one, it seems to also have very different ingredients). after i tried it, i never looked back. and it's a dang cute bottle which is always a plus. as for the "having to use acetone after to dry the nail" acetone isn't the only way to do that, i just wash my hands and dry them.

I think this is for people who wear polish intermittently. Like if you change your nails every week, this isn't for you. But if you're like my mom who paints them a couple of times a year and hates acetone for the smell and drying effect, then this is made for you. It has its place. Not in my nail products drawer but in someone's.
