Make sure you see these “7 checkpoints at contact” from the side view. Use your phone camera on slow motion and pause at contact and look for:

1) “Power L” in back arm
2) Front forearm in line with the bat
3) Head/eyes on the ball
4) Straight (angled) line from leg through the head
5) Head directly over back knee
6) Back foot is vertical
7) Hands above the barrel of the bat
