Hi Dr. Goldcamp,
I have been using a whey and isolated whey protein for about 4 months now. As well as an expensive vegetarian pea protein drink for broadening the spectrum of bio-available food resources to my body. I really watch out for trans-fats, heat processed cheap oils especially in the protein powders, many have a lot of junk.
My VLDL was 11, down from 19 which was great. My triglyceroids were down from 119 to 68. My HDL went from 43 to 49 and my A1C dropped from 4.9 to 4.5 now.
I eat from 60-120 grams of powdered protein per day and suppliment with meat, eggs and fish.
I also make and eat long fermented fibrous vegetables and am making homemade vinegars to use with olive oil on salads.
