My Disting Ex was giving me trouble with pitch. I noticed that the inputs were spitting out high numbers (you can find this under settings, in calibration, view input voltages). I had to do a system reset to see if this could solve the problem. After you reset the system you have to calibrate it as well. This calls for a 3V reference. This means you need a module that can output 3V so the Disting can use that as a reference to calibrate itself. I was informed that the o_C can output voltages with the references app. This video shows how I used the o_C to do that.
I purposely have a small system and these two modules can do so many things. This is really important for a small system. So I was really pleased when I was able to help the Disting EX with the Ornament & Crime.
If you ever have to do a calibration and need a voltage reference and have an o_C you can use it for this purpose.
I’m posting this for my memory and also because I really had to figure this out. There’s things here and there about it but here it is in one place. Maybe this will save someone on search time.

This is great, thank you! I have never calibrated any of my modules (yet). But some of them already need that big way. Thank for this info
