Just last month our power went down, and it was someone who shot the cooling radiators which led it to shutting down because of "loss of coolant".
They had a trailer mounted transformer that was brought in to carry the load while the original transformer is drained, replacing the damaged radiator and doing an oil dehumidifing and cleaning.
It is the the best way to take the US grid down for a long time.
We shouldn't be worried about a controls attack, we should be worried about how much time it takes to repair or replace a damaged transformer...
