I used tinder when I was single after a long relationship. For me I found it caused more depression than anything. Unless you are in that small % of men that get all the matches it's really an app for women and they are the ones dictating who gets chosen. In the end a couple of photos and a smart description doesn't really tell you much about that person. I'm not blessed with "good looks" height and earn the $$$$ but I still bagged my current wife cause we met through friends and we just clicked. Relationships today are so express there's no real meaningful work Involved.

I still think meeting in person is the way to do it. I used Tinder for a moment just to see how atrocious things really were…Man…Things on there were rough.
Definitely more for hookups in the West. Entitlement was everywhere as well as just bad attitude.
The guy might have bots messaging him or he is doing good in Shibuya. I would say he has better luck there. I wouldn’t state someone is a ten percent based off a profile pic, but he takes care of himself so that definitely helps!

In the US Tinder and dating apps are far worse than Japan for men. I am sure in Japan good looking men have a higher rate than average, but in the US even good looking men struggle a lot on these apps.
