This was VERY helpful to me. I just got my first grinder and am fearfully* unsure of which way the wheels go. Watching this video, now I know for sure.
Good point about placing wheels face-up when they'll work either way. I had wondered about that too.
*Semi-related: I have 2 photos of an acquaintance who substituted the arbor nut with some other nut. One is of his Levi's pants cut straight down the the zipper flap. The other is of him in a hospital bed with his penis fileted, a whole bunch of stitches, and a drainage tube.
I'd never owned or operated a grinder. After seeing those pics, I didn't think I'd ever want to, until I needed one.

I used to use slitting thin discs or flap discs for sharpening drill bit tips because they deflect under slight pressure so label down to keep the blerb 📜 intact, what is the detail of a cut off wheel metal ring 🕳️ centre it may actually have a mechanical rotation grip advantage for metal side first like grinder wheels 🛞 🤷🏼♂️.
How much does it matter 🫠🤤.
The nuts however are reversible for thick or thin disc centerin

I like label up, if there’s a crack or something wrong with the disk, it will be easier to spot before turning it into a projectile.
