It's almost as if China needs us more than we need them.

Chinas ecomomic numbers have always been manipulated. We have never really known what they have and don’t have. Waste of time in fact to even talk about. One number matters, which they can’t manipulate. Dollar inflow and us govt bond holding!

What China isn't exporting to the US, the US isn't importing from China.

Important to china to get a trade deal, but the US doesn't really need it. China hasn't figured out that we know it.

Who gives a crap if China's economy is tanking. Let it. We need to remove all the Chinese listings from our exchanges and only let them list back once they comply with all the regulations and requirements other companies do to be fully listed. Add dollar starvation to trade tarrifs.

Americans still want and need those items. For right now, it's a delay. I don't think Trump can continue this war because he's thrown us in a recession. One more quarter is really going to be bad. China is a dictatorship Xi can force his people to take it. The Chinese are very patient.

Americans have "stop the buy" of goods and services from individuals, businesses, and corporations that have supported Trumpism. As soon as the Trumper companies are bankrupt, the people will begin to buy again, and they will only buy from China and not the "made in America" red states of fascism label.

China (the CCP) has overplayed its hand for years. On one hand they take advantage of the trading status quo and then use their profits to challenge US foreign policy with a large military.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Defies common sense even theirs and they know it. Watch Xi, the elders are wanting to get back in Washington's good grace. He's gone soon and will be blamed for failed polic

Should we be engaging in trade with China? "... China has been accused of committing crimes against humanity and possibly genocide against the Uyghur population and other mostly-Muslim ethnic groups in the north-western region of Xinjiang."

Human rights groups believe China has detained more than one million Uyghurs against their will over the past few years in a large network of what the state calls "re-education camps", and sentenced hundreds of thousands to prison terms.

A series of police files obtained by the BBC in 2022 has revealed details of China's use of these camps and described the routine use of armed officers and the existence of a shoot-to-kill policy for those trying to escape.

The US is among several countries to have previously accused China of committing genocide in Xinjiang. The leading human rights groups Amnesty and Human Rights Watch have published reports accusing China of crimes against humanity.

China denies all allegations..."

Brilliant! ! Absolutely brilliant !!!
China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ is learning why "Authoritarian Communism" doesn't work long term.
America is realizing Trump really is a lack-wit Idiot with the comprehension level of a dull Third Grader. (Thanks, we already knew that.)
It's really interesting to see Trump destroy 80 years of economic progress in less than 80 days, beat to the finish line by Xi's this will keep China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ collapsing first.

I wonder what language will be the World standard in 2150. I'm thinking Old No

Whoever has got this chap parroting this nonsense is making a real monkey of him and his credibility.
Joe has never been on the money on a single geopolitical assessment in his YouTube career, and understands less about macroeconomic flows than the ginger cat that visits my garden at night....
US exports account for 3% of China's GDP, whereas Chinese imports account for c. 20% of US imports.
This explains why China ignored Trump's threats, even refusing to negotiate until the US showed some respect.
