I am a Baptist. We always get grief for this…..I believe that “once saved always saved” means if we TRULY surrender to Jesus, Confess he is your only way to salvation, and trust and believe in him YOU WILL BE CHANGED. You will become a new person. With that being said, those who don’t believe in that phrase should ask the question, what happens to my salvation is am tempted, or if I sin…..do we then need to be saved again??? Once we build a relationship with GOD, does that make us perfect and free from future sin?No. If that were the case we would all fail, and need to be resaved over and over again. Jesus only had to die ONCE for our sins. Once I have accepted and vow only to follow him I am “Once saved, always saved”. Great discussion on this podcast, keep up the good work!

its all from a book that itself has been edited so many times nobody should ever believe any of it. 2 major editorial overhauls and now more than 2200 versions of the christian bible each written so a smaller group of chrstians can break away and still live what they consider to be a christian life because now their edited version says so. Any time you say "in the bible" you may as well be saying, "in the enquirer" for all the realism it has.
