Ingredients:
4 pav (bread rolls)
1/2 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup mixed vegetables (onion, capsicum, tomatoes, corn, etc., finely chopped)
1/2 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or a mix of mozzarella and cheddar)
1-2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
Salt to taste
Fresh basil or coriander leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Prepare the Pav: Slice the pav rolls horizontally, but not all the way through (like a sandwich bun). Lightly toast them on a pan with a bit of butter or olive oil for extra flavor and crunch.
Assemble the Pizza: Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each half of the pav. Top with the mixed vegetables and sprinkle some salt, oregano, and chili flakes (if using).
Add Cheese: Generously sprinkle the grated cheese over the vegetables.
Put on tava and roast both sides pav nicely golden brown colour
If you -
Bake: Place the assembled pavs on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the pav are slightly golden.
Garnish and Serve: garnish with fresh basil or coriander leaves, cut into pieces, and serve hot.
