I have an old, old River Roads cook book from Louisiana and I have used their Pain Perdue recipe forever…with the exception of currently using allulose instead of sugar. I’ve always used more cinnamon than that recipe calls for because I prefer the taste of more cinnamon!

I’ve been on keto for year and wife us not. Bread is what I’ve been missing and of course some deserts, but my 1st atteat a flat bread the psyllium turned it purple. Obviously I didn’t research it 1st. Can you help me (a non- baker)?
