Short Guide for Sebaceous filaments #doctoranne

Sebaceous filaments - what are they and how can you manage them? First, let's clear a common misconception: sebaceous filaments are NOT blackheads. Unlike blackheads, which are clogged pores with a dark top due to oxidation, sebaceous filaments are sebum plugs not clogging the pore that appear light grey or amber. They're natural tiny structures in your pores that help oil move oil to the skin's surface. Everyone has them, but they're more visible if you have oily skin and larger pores. You can't permanently get rid of them, but you can manage them by cleansing out your pores with salicylic acid or oil cleansing to loosen the sebum and then by using ingredients to help balance oil production and absorb excess oil like Niacinamide, Gree Tea Extract or clay masks. As tempting as it might be, do not squeeze them as that could lead to skin damage and remember: A consistent skincare routine is key!

Hi doc❤ do you have a video on how to get off birth control when you got it for acne many years ago?
I find this topic extremly difficult to research since it is either presented as all good or all bad (I don’t like to call medication ”toxic” for example).
I have no problems with the pill but since I got it for acne I am a bit worried how to stop taking it due to my age, and some say it blocks your zink, vitamin A and magnesium uptake- is that true?

I much prefer the explanation of a doctor over someone that is a health guru and suggest 20 supplements plus changing my entire life (not all people CAN change their entire life).
I started at 17 and now I’m 42.
I so so hope you can adress this in a video, I think many woman struggle to research this🫶🏼
