It takes more than just power to be a keyblade master, as shown with Terra failing his mark of mastery exam and not being a master. Besides, while Sora does have a strong heart and has been shown to be powerful and successful against villains who use the darkness, he was mostly self-taught in his use of the keyblade, receiving some training from Merlin. Not enough to be a master, and not properly trained in the art of using the keyblade. In dream drop distance, Sora learns to use the keyblade differently, while trying to master the essential power of waking, and trying to become a keyblade master, but Sora doesn't properly master the power of waking, following his heart gets him into trouble in which he is almost turned into a vessel for Xehanort, and Sora ends up failing his exam while getting weaker as a result. Even when Sora can use the power of waking, he doesn't use it as it's supposed to be used, resulting in Sora committing a nature taboo, which causes him to disappear from the world after saving everyone. Sora has many remarkable achievements, but it makes plenty of sense why he still isn't a keyblade master...yet.

To be honest Sora was passing that test until Xehanort sabatoged it. It's really damn dumb, like Xehanort wasn't even supposed to be there at all. And yet Sora still didn't pass, that's like saying if you're doing a test at school and then the kid besides you grabs your worksheet, rips it up, and then he doesn't get into touble and you somehow fail (even though the person beside you ripped YOUR test paper). While the other kids pass because they didn't have an unexpected person to mess with their test, like wtf man...

He didn't take out all of them Lexeaus and Zexion were killed by Riku, while Vexen was killed by Axel.
Hell you could add Roxas' feats to Sora since they're two halves of the whole and Roxas and Sora's experiences are locked away within the other side of eachothers hearts so if it was build on more whatever Roxas experienced Sora experienced and vice versa

I think I might be because he somehow keeps losing his abilities between games.

- Kingdom Hearts 2: Asleep for a year.

- Kingdom Hearts 3: Losing his heart to darkness because of Xehanort in DDD.
- Kingdom Hearts 4: ...We don't know how yet but he's definitely going to lose them again.

He also save everybody from their deaths by broking a nature tabou (twice tho) and time traveling.. and died by that but also find a way to survive (or kinda ??) and end up on another reality... he may not have the official title but he is for sure a master (and self taugh btw), and It seems to be more than a plain one

First off, the only reason why Yen Sid didn't name Sora a master after their exam was because he failed. He fell for Xehanort's trap and was almost made into his 13th vessel. Riku dove into the dream world again, and dove even deeper than before to save Sora. Sora also failed to learn the power of waking, which was his requirement to become a master. In KH3 Sora was basically told that once you learn the power of waking, he will be a master, and he does. However, he also abuses the power of waking to save his friends and later again to save Kairi, causing him to fade away and resulting in him leaving reality and ending up in Quadratum.

He fell asleep during the exam at school and Mr. Sid doesn’t like it when people sleep in his class so he just failed him. But in Sora’s defense, he was up late last night playing a really fun game with his best friend and lost track of time. It do be like that sometimes.
