I think originally, they were gonna make Seifer the Noob-killer mini-boss like Riku was back in Destiny Islands tutorial.

No idea this was a thing given how Sefier is just the tuttorial boss. Actually kinda cool they put something like this in just in case.

Also when fighting Setzer. When battle Hayner and Vivi, if you lose, the screen will go static-buzz and will rewind back just before you begin the fight. But with Setzer, you can lose and LOST the Champion Belt accessory forever. Instead, it will be replaced with extra munny, I believe.
Ironically, due to lore reason, the next cutscene will still play Roxas holding out the Struggle Champion Trophy. Guess he took the losing so bad, he stole it 😂

I really like when games have cutscenes that explore the lesser outcome of un-winnable/un-loosable bosses.
Like in Dragon Quest 11, if you beat the Black Dragon in the castle dungeon escape sequence, Erik goes: "Huh...I wasn't expecting us to win, but... neat!"

One easy way I know to lose to Seifer quickly for kicks is hit him once and let him hit you with his lazy swing and repeat.

Crazy how Seifer's friends actually back him up, meanwhile if Roxas loses his friends just stand there with their default animations.
