Yes and no? Social media provides easy ways for both too much & too little echo chambering. Absolutely your point is correct, however, the fact that we can so easily interract with nameless, faceless opinions on our phones develops a lack of desire to understand the other side aswell. Humans have evolved to live in small communities. The fact that we have been so suddenly exposed to so many different voices is fatal for our developing minds, as we aren't learning & experiencing the things that form these opinions, rather just having opposing groups blast theirs at you.

Absolutely. It produces argumentatively illiterate people. Since we can't avoid having differences with people in real life, we should at least know how to reasonably and respectfully engage with them.
