Not exactly. That sounds like the mic turning in a circle. If you want to do this right youd need to set up a ton of microphones in a line, and throw the disc directly over them to hear its sound. Indoor and isolated would be even better. You can also hear it briefly on dgpt when they have the mics in the correct place, which is rare.

The sound is from the mic hitting air resistance on the spin. It would probably sound like nothing if you could actually hear a frisbee cut through air 😂

I was under Paul Ulibarri’s disc as he forehanded a hole at the KCWO in 2023. Not quite the right sound on here.

The disc went over our heads to clarify. He warned us before throwing. Lol😅

This isn't what the disk "hears" in flight, the mic is clipping because the sound pressure (or in this case, air pressure) is too strong.
