Lead Democrats in 2024 advocated for outlawing "misinformation," to the point of criminalizing it.
They're going to have a LOT more reason to push for that after Trump. They scare the hell out of me.

Ben is right. The real problem is that Trump's greatest weakness is his inability to allow others to lead. That really limits the pool for the next election. The reaslity is that the next Republican candidate needs to start becoming a thought leader, but I'm afraid Trump won't allow it. It would be nice to see Tump giving JDV a chance to stand a bit on his own. but I just don't see it happening.
Thew only mitigating factor is the Dems just don't have a decent candidate, but I do think the Dems don't care who their candidate is, they will bebehind them no matter how bad. Likewise, I think we'll find it's not really TDS, it's RDS - Republican Derangement Syndrome.

One of the many things Charlie Kirk understood and was right to fight against was complacency and overconfidence among Republicans. He was 1000% dedicated to going the extra miles and not assuming anything. He had that dogged determination to chase every ballot, and fight to win over young people with truth.
He knew the potentially catastrophic danger of just coasting and thinking that everyone is going to just naturally make the right decisions when voting.
I always see overconfident Republicans in YT Comments section brag about how "Trump has won it already. Big Red Wave Baby! Wooooo!!!" Didn't turn out that way in 2020 did it?
Charlie never made that mistake like so many others, including many of you reading this. Always fight like you're behind, and in the final seconds of the final, climactic battle.
