It doesn't work for everyone, but if you haven't tried it yet, have a go at tapping where your neck meets your skull in the back on both sides. Fixes mine pretty quickly.

My husband got it from hunting. He had hearing protection with him but had taken it off and left them on his shoulders so when he shoot his gun he realized he effed up. Still have to walk on his left side or he can't hear me talking to him properly
