I've had the specter die but the bosses still thinks it's alive and keep attacking it. Sometimes it'd switch to me but then switch back to the dead invisible specter

I found that the easiest way to beat survivors is to dodge around, maybe a quick slice or two depending on your weapon and wait for them to turn their backs. Do a quick roll behind them and sneak attack. Use throwables or cells if and or when needed, but just dodge, wait, and when the moment arises, sneaky back strike. This has the added bonus of really good cell charges. If your cells are out a sneak/fatal strike charges them them like crazy.

She has a very slow but reliable loop where you perfect guard her close range lunge, then dodge right and you can always get a hit with a fast thrusting weapon
