CIS white dude here. I look like a trump supporter. My entire family looks like trump supporters. We are a blue collar/military family who has been in America since the 1700s. We are the demographics of the major groups of trump supporters.
But we are not…
My family is a bunch of diehard hillbilly liberals and we don’t expect people to see that in us. I also don’t expect anyone else to coddle me because of the election. It’s not their responsibility. I would never put that responsibility on anyone else. It’s not productive at all.
Being who I am, I am used to being disappointed in my own demographic, but after the election, I am disappointed in the nation as a whole.

I'm a white, gay man who voted for Kamala. I voted for a person who has dedicated her life to public service. I was never more proud of my candidate when she walked out on that debate stage, extended her hand and introduced herself to the POS. That spoke volumes. He cowered and she stood tall. I saw a person who could stand her ground to any world leader. She was fearless. He shrunk. I voted for the best candidate. I work in an organization where most leaders are women and a majority of those leaders are Black women. It was never a question as to whether she could do the job because she's Black. She could do the job because of her experience and intelligence. Being a woman and Black was icing on the cake. MAGAts are tumbling over themselves do decry that it was about "parents' rights", not spending more than the government takes in"... I even had one white cis-male tell me how tired he is of the social issues. SMFH. We're going to pay dearly for our misogyny and racism.

I am a 64 y/o white woman, a Progressive, a SocialDemocrat. Over the last few years I’ve been talking to my children and a female friend that was a lifelong Republican and we all voted for Kamala. I would never ask anyone for sympathy or support, so I don’t quite understand what all this is about. The only ones to blame are the maggats (men and women alike) that again voted the clown into office in spite of all the warnings.
