JoeX was the best knife reviewer that I've seen so far. No jerking off on expensive materials or fancy steels. Just brutally honest testing of knives that claimed to be made for an apocalypse but already failed at a car door. Rest in Piece ❤️

I bought the 9000T 2 weeks ago and had to send it back to Kershaw for warranty after a week. The front half of the primary edge wouldn't sharpen. Even after going all the way down to 320 grit stones and trying to reprofile. I think there was a problem with the heat treat and the front half was chipping. Waiting to see how it takes and edge once it's back from Kershaw.

JoeX taught me that the same Knife in a Cheaper steel will not hold an edge as long but won’t break either cold steel SR1 lite outperformed the more expensive version as I had suspected it would. Thanks JoeX

Appreciate this. I haven't sprung on an OTF even though I've been eyeing them for awhile. But the cool factor isn't worth spending on if the thing is gonna break under a little stress. The Kershaw is on my list of possibilities, seeing it do some work and holding up is encouraging.

Your channel is why I bought a Livewire. And I already have a microtech and benchmade and cobratec. I now carry a livewire and my trusty cobratec fs-3. The cobratec FS-3 has no blade play at all, like almost none, no ratlle but no blade play side to side or up and down. For $120 the cobratec is something else
