Nope. I don't need no air plumber to come fix my stuff for $600 dollars an hour.

The laundry problem is mostly folding after washing, not really transporting the laundry.

Those tubes are going to be pretty gross after sexed up sheets go through em.

A Hole in the floor will do the same thing. They were called laundry chutes back in the 1970s.

I can imagine all the dirty laundry getting clogged up in your walls, lol. and then having to tear down the drywall just to get your favorite T-shirt back.

As 99% of us live in ordinary sized houses or apartments.....this seems a very over engineered solution.....to a problem we dont have.

Im a homebuilder. Had a company offer to install one of these in a model home for free, so we accepted. After two years we’ve had zero interest from homebuyers. Aside from the $15,000 price tag for the unit and one intake port it is not uncommon for a dry hand towel to not make it through to the laundry…leaving the unit on until its unplugged. Additionally, the noise made by the slamming outfall door in the unit when turned on is ridiculously loud.

No. More complexity = more problems = more expense. Carrying a laundry basket will never require repairs.

fk man I didn't realize it was difficult to take the basket of clothes and drop them into the washer opposed to feeding them into some tube. Seems like this would take longer then my current method.

If you're so lazy that you need a separate port in every room to throw your dirty laundry... you're NOT going to find the motivation to actually DO the laundry.

The old vesion was called a laundry chute. It was basically a square box tube that went straight down to the cellar. No clogging, no machinary to break. This is another engineering question no one every asked.

How much will it cost to avoid the arduous job of carrying a basket of laundry down the stairs?

Are people really that lazy to spend a fortune on a vacuum tube instead of just carrying it

Clothes will get jammed inside and you’ll have a big ass bill to get it fix.

I grew up in a house that had a laundry chute that used gravity. It never broke down and used zero power.
