INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of MAKOMAS Sorghum flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk (or dairy-free alternative)
1 large egg (or egg substitute)
2 tablespoons melted butter (or dairy-free alternative)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together MAKOMAS Sorghum flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
