Ok guys update..I contacted Ruger by email and explained the rusting issue they told me to send them pictures and I did and they sent me a new slide just came in today hopefully it doesn’t happen again it took 10 to 14 business days

Ruger has always had problems with rust. Not sure why they don't just cerakote all their guns.
