i dont think people are saying an executive officer for a large corporation should not be compensated well. where we are having a disconnect in reason is, if said large corporation is being successful, then a share of the revenue should go to the workers that make the company succeed by way of bonuses and raises. right now we dont have that, what we have is a system where corporations are permitted to pay its workers wages that are below the poverty level while dumping them off on the social safety net so they can get food stamps and other aid to make up the difference, as they report billions in revenue.

Itās kind of infuriating sometimes how utterly inept socialists are. They really are the flat earthers of economics. Itās like imagine taking money out of this. Imagine there are two people building a house. One guy is super lazy and just puts up 4 walls and a roof over a couple days. The other guy spends decades building a castle. Then when the guy finally starts enjoying his castle this moron would bitch about how unfair it is that he gets to have a castle.
