Ohio State defensive end Jack Sawyer defended Ryan Day against criticism at Big Ten Media Days and said he would commit to the Ohio State coach “100 times over if I could,” saying that he and his recruiting classmates feel like they’ve let Day down by failing to beat Michigan for the past three years.

“He’s the only coach I’d want to play for in college football,” Sawyer said.
