(Hello! Do you know where I can find the town hall?)

Person 2: „Äh... ja, klar! Das Haus von dem Rat... also... ein Haus mit einem Rat, ja?”
(Uh... yeah, sure! The house of the council... so... a house with a rat, right?)

Person 1: „Äh... nein, das Rathaus! Das Gebäude von der Stadt!”
(Uh... no, the town hall! The building for the city!)

Person 2: „Ach so! Ich dachte, du suchst ein Haus... mit einer großen Ratte.”
(Oh! I thought you were looking for a house... with a big rat.)

Person 1: „Nein, nein, kein Tier! Also, das Rathaus!”
(No, no, no animal! So, the town hall!)

Person 2: „Ah, verstehe! Und dann gehst du zu einem Haus... mit einem Tatort?”
(Ah, I get it! And then you go to a house... with a crime scene?)

Person 1: (lacht) „Nein, aber vielleicht bräuchte ich da wirklich Hilfe!”
(laughs) "No, but I might really need help with this!”
