I don’t disagree most companies are evil, but you portrayed it very poorly.

Would providing the same amount of products or services to the economy with fewer employees not increase the remaining employees productivity? If every company produced the same amount of product but laid a whole bunch of people off, that labor would be freed up to work in other jobs. Optimizing for efficiency is the only way to actually improve the economy and to have the average person be better off.

If your currecy is getting devalued (by bad monetary decisions and money printing), like in all fiat currencies, you need to make constantly more money in order to not loose purchasing power due to the devaluation/inflation. Better money that does not loose purchasing power / steal from you would fix this.
