Yeah, but when you have to walk away from someone to heal from all the verbal and mental abuse that you’ve been through this can be taken on totally different perspective. This has nothing to do with being with someone else this has to do with healing themselves from the trauma that they’ve been In with that person and the toxic relationship

So it’s best to look what your partners life was like six months previous to wanting time and space and if things were fine that’s an indication that your partner is either talking daft or looking for a better partner
