The build starts with a one-of-a-kind body made by Dodges Wood and Iron. The body is made from black limba. The design is engraved 1/8" deep into the surface of the body and then backfilled with turquoise and purple pearl epoxy.
The neck is a Fender Licensed MIGHTY MITE Telecaster Neck- Modern "C" Shape- Maple w/ Rosewood Fingerboard- 9.5" Radius (241 mm)- 21 JUMBO Frets- 25.5" Scale Length - Satin Nitro Finish.
Installed on the neck is a set of Fender Classic Gear Strat /Tele Tuners.
Installed on the body is a Fender vintage bridge with Wilkinson brass compensated saddles.
Fender Tex-Mex Telecaster pickups finish the purchased components for the build.
Wrapping up, I built a modern three-way telecaster wiring with Solid shaft CTS pots, Oak Grigsby Switch, Switchcraft Output Jack, and a .047 uf Capacitor.
The guitar weighs 8 lbs and 1 ounce.

Awesome...but I kept expecting some kind of tung oil or clear coat to darken the wood tone... I built a tenor Tele (4 string)... and that's what I did... it looks nice and finished.
