The Bible doesn't say that Jesus is the only thing that matters, just that he's the most important thing, which he is. But also not just that but I think people are conflating overall value with moral value. Jesus is the only true source of truth and morality, and not only do other things have value but because of morality we see the value in things like life and love and happiness and sacrifice, there are all kinds of wonderful things that have value that aren't Jesus but they all came from Jesus

Isn't this typical of the West, thst we look at pictures of hungry, crying children in Gaza, on television, and we turn off and go back to our music, or Sunday newspapers, our political novels are art reviews.
The thing whivh is of value is to love our neighbours - even those thousands of miles away, in Gaza, as ourselves. Love God first, and then our neighbours.
We avoid thinking sbout our unique purpose, which God has for us, and instead play philosopher, ourselves, dissecting and analysing our culture, congratulsing ourselves on our clever ideas, and morally turning a blind eye to suffering. We prooritise the wrong things and our neighbours go on suffering.
