What's scary is how many NEW guys look at me when I remind them to update the hazmat on the ct168s. It's like they NEVER heard of such a thing

As a Locomotive Engineer of thirty years, what is most irritating for me with you new guys is that you do not ask me enough questions, that you have no interest in how an Engineer operates a Locomotive beyond hitting the Alerter or how to properly diagnose a failing Locomotive. When you ask us Engineers a question on train compliance issues and we ssem upset at the question being asked, our irritation stems way more from the pure lack of the training progam you went through vs you as an employee, well unless you've been a Conductor over five plus years, then we've likely figured out that we're working alone for another trip. But ya, ask as many questions of us Engineer's you can, if we get upset, it's not with you personally.
