Wish he would try it again and do it properly… but at the same time I feel like his palet is completely different from most people’s. He’s literally one of the best chefs on the entire planet, I always foresee him hating viral food trends. When you’re constantly eating/drinking the best food/beverages on the planet, you’re probably not going to like a viral trend containing things that you’d never pair together. I hate whiskey and coke but I love pickle backs so I’d probably like this, but someone like Gordon who’s had gourmet cocktails/mocktails, how could anyone expect him to like this. Also the fact that there aren’t any recipes with proper measurements set him up for failure, he totally over did it with the juices, he also didn’t stir it. There’s also no way that he reacted like that without it being staged, there wasn’t even enough time for him to properly taste it. Would love for him to make his own version of this and then give a reaction. He knows the audience loves when he reacts badly to things so I feel like he didn’t give it a proper chance. Next time I drink I definitely want to try this (I’ll probably use pepperoncini’s instead of jalapeños because I prefer them more). But I’m so interested in this!
