Nice piece of equipment, especially there in your part of the world. If you see a 10 foot tall thermal image moving towards you, run like hell...

You always find a way to inject humor however subtle it may be.

I looked at their website just before this came out. It isn't cheap, but it is reasonably priced. They have begun offering them with swappable objective lenses, very innovative.

The company I worked for several years ago had a thermal scanner(not scope). I got to take it home and play with it. Lot more critters out in the woods than you realize. The Opossums up in the trees with their babies on their back were kinda trippy to look at.๐Ÿ˜Š

I thought they were prohibited in Canada? I could be wrong. We have more leaniant laws on thermals and night vision. But for defense, I would love one.

I took a handheld thermal out one night and saw a wombat. The thermal had a red dot on it. I'd put the dot on the wombats nose and it would turn away from the red dot. Basically had that wombat on remote control, turning left and right for ten minutes. Very amusing!

you live in BC?
wow!
it's funny how that makes a person think that you might be seen in the neighborhood... But BC is 3x the size of Germany, it takes about 10 hours to go west to east at the bottom edge, and north - south...
But, yes, it's a beautiful piece of landscape. (We own 10 acres, somewhere)

Wished more manufacturers would make zero magnification units to mount ahead of the daylight optic.
