DEAD Talks with David Ferrugio engages death a little bit differently. Each new guest shares their experience with grieving or perspective on death in a way that shatters the ā€œdon’t talk about deathā€ taboo. Grief doesn't end; it evolves. Having lost his father on September 11th when he was 12, he learned the importance of discussion and sharing other people's stories. DEAD Talks Podcast hopes to make it a little easier to talk about grief, loss, death, mourning, trauma, or whatever it may be. You may cry, but you also may laugh.

My mom passed at 35. When my brother sister and myself were in our 50s and having lunch, we all admitted we secretly believed growing up, ā€œI just have to get past 35 and then I’m all good.ā€

My Grandmothers lived to 94 and 100. My Grandfathers both died at 54. I figured if I made it past 54 I'd have about another 40 years. I'm now 56.

I've always said I'll probably just make it to my 60s..I couldn't see life past my 40s.. im now 49. Now and honestly I look forward to the day im gone as long as my family are all ok and my pets have passed so I can be with them.
My life isn't happy or fullfilling. I have always felt sad & abandoned.

You choose (for the most part) when you die. This makes sense to me!
