I think if the the clips are broken down, analised and diacussed in depth then its all fair use. Its completely transforming the content. If its just playing peoples entire videos with nonedits and then discussing after, that could be sticky ground. But to play short bursts with your camera overlaid and then pause and discuss and offer commentry or alternative talking points is more than fair.

I feel like every unfounded copyright strike they should themselves receive a strike for abusing the system. They need consequences for their abusive behavior.

Just imo, these strikes only seem to happen against any channel which critiques their vids unfavourably in any way.

Any channel which shows their content but heaps praise upon &/or 'reacts' in their favour, are all just fine and dandy, arent they. No matter how much of their content the favourable channels use.

Double standards, much?

I cant recall many book authors, or play-writers, or movie makers, or restaurant owners etc, trying to destroy their critics, ...although that could've happened i suppose, i cant recall any though, so its obviously not common nor widely accepted practice.

If one makes any content for public consumption, one must be prepared for public criticisms if there are genuine reasons for such, ie: truth telling, ...whether favourable OR unfavourable.

Love your work Mr Grey πŸ‘

Yes I think it is enough. Debunkers put far more time into their videos than a reaction video. I do not believe in the a copyright strike. People seem to be issuing those simply to get attention because their channels are going down the tubes. All of these strikes should never be allowed! Love your work.. please never stop!

I think fair use for debunking or reaction should be totally allowed.

All the content I've seen from you had been highly transformative through parody, critique and educational commentary.

The channels under fire are largely devoid of anything that makes it distinct from the original work and are practically just re-uploading others intellectual property.

You're break down and analysis, just like the news; and, your videos are transformative... the literal definition (in part) of fair use. I would fight every strike for copyright if I had a channel such as yours.

Your videos are transformative. You don't react, you review, analyse, and critique. You shouldn't be subject to copyright claims or strikes.

Dear Mr. Grey, Thank you for presenting the question. For what it is worth... I'm of the opinion that it all comes down to... Intention. By that I mean... What is your intentions??? Do bring forth enlightenment???... Do you bring forth mindful awareness???... Do you bring forth critical thinking???.. The question(???) should be... Do you... Care to Care???? Everyone is entitled to a opinion... Everyone has a voice to be heard... What do you actually have to say??? The proof is in the action... Much love and respect πŸ™ ❀

We need debunking because to many people fall for scams. There should be an exception foe these type of videos from copyright strikes or defamation

It certainly should be enough to avoid the dreaded copyright strike πŸ€˜πŸ™β€

The debunking videos are actually more detailed and in depth than 99% of reaction videos and top 5s ect. Either way it's all fair use.

I think the reaction person needs to add their own edits and shuffling of clips, etc. not just sit and watch someone's content they've worked hard on, maybe paid editors for their videos. And someone else just watches it and adds nothing of their own to it. Then that's not fair. I honestly think Casper is just over the top and not really genuine reactions. It's always seemed forced and made up. Nobody can get that "freaked out" by the things he reacts too.

I think the breakdown and analysis videos transform the content enough to come under fair use/fair dealings. However, that doesn't mean there aren't certain channels out there that will still wrongly use the copyright system. I'd say good morning back but I'm only just watching this at almost 8 o'clock in the evening so I hope you had a good day πŸ’Ÿ

I think debunking vids are much better than reaction channels. The main reason is that we actually get to learn something from a debunking video, but my opinion is that fair use is acceptable for both.

Unfortunately certain channels are using copyright claims to wipe out channels that they don't like, and that is completely unacceptable.

I think as long as the video is being commented over and not shown as a complete entity as is it's transformative. Especially debunking. As that is being broken down.

I think it should be simplified like if the reaction video has more than 50% of other people's media in it then it's not legit new media or something along those lines.

Copyright strikes should only be allowed when a channel literally plays the entire video from another channel..reaction channels and debunking channels should not be penalized. Reacting and debunking to parts of said videos should be fair use.
So in other words ... copyright striking debunkers is utter bollocks

Much love ❀❀❀
